Revved Up Kids Safer Teen Girls ~ October 3 @ 3pm
AGE: ideal for girls age 11 – 19 (middle and high school).
Parent/Guardian encouraged but not required to accompany participant.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Revved Up Kids Safer Teen Girls teaches participants about their risk of sexual assault, abuse or exploitation at the hands of strangers, acquaintances and dating partners. Participants will learn to incorporate personal safety into all decision making, and to defend themselves against an attacker. The workshop includes full force self-defense tactics practice. NOTE: This program includes straightforward discussion of sexual assault/rape, relationship abuse and trafficking; parents of pre-teens should exercise caution when enrolling their children.
